The car seat arrived clean well packaged. I don't really like the bottom clips. You have to match them up and clip them in together. Not easy with a kicking crying baby. The other part I don't like is the shade thing. When you pull it up it comes off the back because it doesn't attach. So when you try to block out the sun you have to keep messing with it while walking. I've given up and use a blanket.I wish I had recorded a video before returning this car seat but I can say this with confidence: If you’re not going to use the latch system DO NOT purchase this car seat. With vehicle seatbelt only the head of the car seat lifts up so easily which then loosens the seatbelt making the car seat very unsecure. I completely read the instructions and had my husband read them to make sure that my vehicle seat and belt was useable for this car seat carrier so I know that is not the reason. I did read one negative review that said the same thing but with so many positives I figured maybe that one reviewer must be doing something wrong.This will be my 7th baby and my seventh car seat purchase so I’m not speaking from inexperience.I read many reviews on this carseat before purchasing. I was looking for a seat which was narrow enough for me to put in my backseat with 2 other carseats as I have 3 small children. This seat is narrow enough to fit 3 across very easily. In many reviews I read that the lower buckle was a problem because both sides had to be connected before you could snap it into the bottom. I didn't think this would be an issue, so I purchased it. I personally find it slightly annoying after using it for a few months. I'm not so annoyed that I am going to buy a new seat because of it. The lower buckle just makes it more difficult to buckle my son into the seat as he gets bigger and more wiggly. The lower buckle is why I took away 1 starEverything was good with this product my daughter loved it for her new babyEasy to use, easy to adjudt straps, quick release from base with the release pull down by the child's feet. The triangle on the handle mskes it easier to carry than some other styles. Dark color helps hide the stains that always happen with kids. I'm on baby #5, I've used many different babyseats, this one is great. It has everything I want.I purchased this to fit with the stroller that I inadvertently thought was compatible with one of my already-purchased car seats. I wanted to use the jogging stroller with my newborn (just as a regular stroller until head control was achieved)... Hence purchasing a newborn car seat to click in. What a collosal waste of money. The car seat sits within the stroller at such a ridiculous pitch that the baby's head would flop forward. Why would a company make an infant car seat that is compatible with this stroller if you can't put an infant inside of it safely? Also, what a ridiculously cheap car seat this is. I would never trust it inside of a vehicle. The handle is a pain to attempt to pull forward and push back for regular use, as the buttons are very difficult to push. I'm very disappointed in both the car seat and jogger investment. Do not purchase.Its ok. Good value for the money I guess. The lining is very hard, but the reason it's a low rating is the latching system. Can be difficult to latch the lap portion as you have to align the clips together before latching it in the buckle, you can't close it one side at a time, so it becomes difficult with a squirming baby. Also, not great head support, we bought a new insert for softness and head support.Very secure
