It was very easy to switch back and forth between my vehicle and my husbands. That was nice! Easiest car seat to install as far as getting it buckled in... BUT.. I could not get the angle right in my suburban for my daughter. She's 27lbs, so I am supposed to have her level with the ground, according to the line on the car seat itself. She's only 18 months, so I do have her rear-facing. I just cannot get it level with the line. I tried putting a rolled up blanket under the front to put her at the right angle, but how safe is that really? And I cannot get it where it does not move. I live out in the country. There's gravel roads and curves. I swear, her car seat slides around. It's barely noticeable, but it makes me nervous! In my husband's Nissan Sentra, it works great!! Seriously, it's great! It fits well. It doesn't slide around. Perfect angle! My mom's Odyssey, same thing! But in my Chevy Suburban, it just does not seem to work. I don't know if it's because the seats are leather or the angle of the seat.. I don't know. It just doesn't work. My husband's Nissan and my mom's Odyssey both have cloth seats too if that helps anyone to decide to buy. Overall, it's a great car seat. Don't let this deter you from buying it! It's easy to clean, easy to adjust, and I like that when she falls asleep, her head doesn't just fall forward or flop over to the side. It looks very comfortable for her. We did keep this car seat for my husband's car, and my mom has one as well. They both love it and use it often. For my suburban, I did end up buying a different one though.
